The Mountain - Piz Scalottas
Breathtaking views at 2.323 meters above sea levevl
Piz Scalottas is situated at 2,323 metres above sea level, is Lenzerheidner's local mountain and can be reached by chairlift from Val Sporz / Tgantieni. From the summit you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the Lenzerheide-Valbella plateau and the surrounding valleys and mountains. On the Piz Scalottas you can start your skiing day completely relaxed, because here start different slopes, which are also wonderfully suitable for families with children. Piz Scalottas is also the perfect starting point for skiing the entire west side of the winter sports area Arosa Lenzerheide, as the slopes here are already sunny in the morning. Of course, pedestrians are also welcomed. The chair lift takes you comfortably up the mountain, and with a scenic view back to the valley.
In 1942 the «Speed skilifts» were built from Val Sporz to Tgantieni and on the Piz Scalottas. So it all started up here. The «Schäfermulde» ski slope is one of Lenzerheide's famous slopes and is a real insider tip today. Somewhat faster and steeper is the FIS slope, where big ski races used to be held.
